Chief Engineer Loews Hotels, LLC. United States, Texas, Arlington May 02, 2026 Loews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center is a state-of-the-art, full-service meetings and resort destination that caters to groups of all sizes, as well as families who are looking for a world-class experience in the epicenter of the premier sports and entertainment district in the country. Centrally located between Dallas and Fort Worth between iconic sports stadiums, Globe Life Field, home of the 2023 World Series Texas Rangers and AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, the 888-room resort features five restaurants and lounges, two pools with an authentic sandy beach, cabanas and a water slide as well as a fitness center, full-service spa and salon and 266,000 square feet of meeting and event space. This position primary function is to support the Chief engineer in maintaining all guestrooms and guest floors. This is done to the four diamond level by providing direction and supervision to the staff. Manage all aspects of the day to day operations, preparing guestroom maintenance and inspection reports related to VIP, espresso, assisting in staffing, training, evaluating performance. Job Specific Establishes daily work assignments, and directs flow of same to completion
Reviews all completed work orders, and inspects completed work as needed to ensure accuracy and quality
Assists all department heads in handling any unusual maintenance related guest complaints
Ensures completion to standard of all required preventive maintenance operations
Assists engineers in diagnosis of problems related to equipment malfunction
Coordinate training programs for painters and espresso engineers
Ensures maintenance shop adherence to cleanliness and safety standards
Maintains guestroom parts storeroom and maintenance shop inventories
Attends all required hotel meetings to keep abreast of in-house activities/promotions and events; maintain communications with other departments within the hotel
Assists supervisors in communicating Maintenance Request needs to engineers as needed
Assists Director of Engineering in the compliance to the ADA in all guest rooms
Assists supervisor in communicating Maintenance Request needs to engineers as needed Administers; key control system, tool control procedures, credit card control
Works with Security Department with regard to all repairs and maintenance of electronic/hard key locking systems to insure secure nature of all materials, supplies and information
Performs periodic inspections of all guestrooms to ensure maintenance to standard
Trains, appraises, coaches, counsels and disciplines departmental personnel according to Loews standards
Follows Hire Training and ongoing Star Service Competency program in accordance with hotel policy

Ability to make decisions on imperfect information Qualifications Three to five years as an engineering supervisor a Hospitality environment preferred
Working knowledge of Electrical, Plumbing, HV AC, Refrigeration and Life Safety operating systems
Ability to read and interpret architectural! blue-line drawings
Knowledge of OSHA regulations, equipment operation and maintenance, record-keeping systems
Effective management, leadership, organizational and communication skills
Knowledge of computer based management systems such as: Windows office, Espresso
Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
