Full-time Confidential Opportunity:
General Manager Full-Service Hotel | Austin, Texas A respected hospitality ownership and management company is conducting a confidential search for an experienced General Manager to lead a full-service Hilton-branded hotel in the Austin market. This opportunity is ideal for a proven hospitality leader who excels at driving operational excellence, guest satisfaction, associate engagement, and financial performance while leading a large, complex hotel operation. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in full-service hotel leadership, a passion for team development, and a demonstrated ability to deliver results across all departments. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership for all hotel operations, including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Engineering, Sales, and Finance Drive guest satisfaction, quality assurance, and brand compliance initiatives Lead and develop department heads and hotel leadership teams Achieve revenue, profitability, labor, and expense management goals Partner with Sales and Revenue Management teams to maximize market share and hotel performance Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and service excellence Ensure the property consistently delivers exceptional guest experiences Maintain strong relationships with ownership, brand representatives, and community partners Oversee capital improvement projects and asset preservation initiatives Qualifications Minimum 2 years of General Manager experience in a full-service or large focused service (150+ rooms) hotel environment Previous experience with a nationally recognized hotel brand preferred Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and P&L accountability Demonstrated success leading large teams and developing future hospitality leaders Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on operational leadership Preferred Experience Embassy Suites, Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, or similar upscale full-service brand experience Experience managing hotels with meeting space, food and beverage operations, and multiple revenue streams Proven track record of improving guest satisfaction scores and financial performance Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off 401(k) with company match Professional development and advancement opportunities Application Process This is a confidential search.
