Extended Stay Hotel General Manager La Porte, TX 77571 $48,334.50 - $60,000.00 a year - Full-time $48,334.50 - $60,000.00 a year - Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Extended Stay Hotel General Manager to lead our Award Winning Candlewood Team, and ensure exceptional guest experiences. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily hotel operations, drive revenue growth, and foster a welcoming environment for guests from diverse backgrounds. Your leadership will inspire staff, optimize hotel performance, and uphold the highest standards of hospitality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the guest journey while managing a vibrant team in a fast-paced hospitality setting. A leader with strong recruiting skills and team development will be needed. Duties Lead and supervise all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services, ensuring smooth daily operations Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue through effective pricing, promotions, and occupancy management Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control measures to meet or exceed financial goals Maintain high standards of guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring outstanding customer service at all touchpoints Manage human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development to build a motivated team Ensure compliance with safety regulations, hotel policies, and brand standards across all departments Oversee night audit procedures and multi-line phone systems to ensure efficient communication and accurate financial reconciliation Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, leadership development, and employee engagement Experience Proven supervisory experience in hospitality management or hotel operations with a focus on extended stay or resort environments Strong background in revenue management, budgeting, and financial analysis within the hospitality industry Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest relations professionally and empathetically Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience managing diverse teams across multiple departments Knowledge of human resources practices including hiring, training, performance management, and conflict resolution Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse guest demographic effectively Familiarity with front desk operations, night audit procedures, multi-line phone systems, and phone etiquette is essential Previous hotel management experience with an emphasis on hospitality standards and guest satisfaction metrics Join us as our Extended Stay Hotel General Manager to lead with passion, elevate guest experiences, and create a vibrant community where everyone feels valued.
