Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Hotel General Manager to lead our hospitality team and ensure an exceptional guest experience. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of hotel operations, from guest services and staff supervision to financial management and strategic planning. Your leadership will drive the success of the hotel, foster a welcoming environment, and uphold the highest standards of hospitality excellence. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality management, possesses strong leadership skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused setting. Duties Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring smooth functioning across departments including front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance. Lead and supervise staff members, providing guidance on customer service, guest relations, and operational procedures. Manage revenue streams through effective revenue management strategies to optimize occupancy rates and profitability. Coordinate human resources activities such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff scheduling to maintain a motivated team. Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety regulations, and industry standards while maintaining a positive work environment. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Oversee budgeting processes, expense control, and financial reporting to meet organizational goals. Implement and monitor hotel management systems including multi-line phone systems and front desk operations with excellent phone etiquette. Foster strong guest relations by creating memorable experiences through personalized service and attention to detail. Conduct night audits and oversee operational procedures during overnight shifts to ensure security and accuracy of financial records. Experience Proven supervisory experience in hospitality or hotel management roles with demonstrated leadership capabilities Hilton/Marriott. Extensive hotel experience with comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations including front desk management, guest services, and resort environments. Strong background in hospitality management principles such as revenue management, budgeting, human resources, and customer service excellence. Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable to communicate effectively with diverse guests and staff members. Experience working with multi-line phone systems, managing phone etiquette, and handling night audit procedures is preferred. Familiarity with resort settings or large-scale hospitality environments is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of hospitality and guest satisfaction.
