Job Description

At Sleep Inn Provo, we believe great hospitality starts with great leadership. We are seeking an experienced, service-driven General Manager to lead daily hotel operations, inspire high-performing teams, and deliver exceptional guest experiences while driving revenue growth and operational excellence. What You'll Do As General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of hotel operations with a strong focus on guest satisfaction, team leadership, profitability, and brand standards. This role is responsible for creating a positive culture, maintaining operational efficiency, and ensuring the property consistently exceeds performance goals.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead and develop hotel teams through coaching, training, mentoring, and performance management Drive revenue growth and profitability while meeting or exceeding financial goals Ensure exceptional guest service and maintain high product quality standards Oversee scheduling, staffing, payroll management, and labor optimization based on occupancy levels Manage departmental budgets, inventory control, purchasing, and cost containment Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with all hotel and brand standards Foster a collaborative, guest-focused culture that promotes accountability and teamwork Monitor operational performance and implement strategies for continuous improvement Ensure all safety procedures, policies, and operational standards are consistently followed Serve as a hands-on leader who models professionalism, integrity, and service excellence What We're Looking For Preferred 3 years of experience as an Assistant General Manager, Senior Department Head, or similar hotel leadership role Strong understanding of hotel operations, budgeting, accounting, sales, and revenue management Proven ability to lead teams, drive results, and build a positive workplace culture Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hotel management systems Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills Professional appearance and demeanor with a hands-on leadership style Results-oriented mindset with strong team-building abilities Why Join Us?
