is currently seeking a Chief Engineer/ Facility Maintenance Manager The Chief Engineer is responsible for operating and maintaining the property's exterior and interior facilities including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, general equipment, and Brand Life safety programs including preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, hotel security in this position. Providing Guests with a Warm service and living our Brand's values is key for this position. Benefits Health, vision and dental insurance 401(k) Vacation and Sick Pay Paid Holidays Employee Referral Program Opportunities for Advancement Hilton Team Member discounts for you, your friends and family Access to our Talent team to help you reach your career growth goals Responsibilities Responsible for maintaining the entire hotel facility including physical building structure, grounds, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and related equipment Preventative maintenance and repair of the hotel's mechanical/electrical systems and equipment, and for the general maintenance and upkeep of the facility, FF&E, grounds, swimming pool, etc. Monitor life safety systems and utilities and administer the department on compliance with all corporate/franchise standards and local, state and national codes and regulations to protect assets, guests and associates. Comply with all Hilton & Management company requirements on completion of tasks assigned. Be available 24/7 during any Emergency Calls from Hotel to be onsite within a max of 20 minutes. Time Management is key to this position to ensure High priority items are addresses asap. Position will require working Holidays and in lieu of working holidays, will be able to take extra an extra day off. Minimum of a year Experience in handling Indoor pool & Hot tub and be able to take readings, adjust chemicals as needed. Complete other duties assigned from General Manager. Qualifications High School Diploma/GED required OR 5 years related experience and or training Hotel Experience with a compatible HOTEL required for at least 1 Year or more. Enhanced Knowledge & Skills majorly in
PLUMBING, HVAC
operations, Programming Door locks and handy man repairs. Must Possess adequate knowledge in operating Swimming Pool & Hot Tub and stay in 100% compliance with County Requirements. Must be able to work on Microsoft tools and be savvy on using technology & tools to improve productivity. Must be highly motivated and a self starter leading the team by setting example. Detail oriented on every job that is done to ensure its done right at the first time.
