Full Job Description Position Overview:
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Madison Central, a leading property development and management firm in the Midwest, is seeking a professional and motivated Hotel Night Manager to join our Holiday Inn Express Madison Central team. Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression. Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction. Manage reservations, including handling phone calls and online booking systems. Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions to guests. Address and resolve guest inquiries and complaints in a timely and effective manner. Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and perform basic cashiering tasks. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure room readiness and address any guest needs. Ensure the lobby area is tidy and presents a welcoming environment. Assist in managing and optimizing the hotel's reservation system and front office operations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification or degree preferred. Proven experience in a front desk role, preferably in the hospitality industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in computer systems, including reservation software. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
