Job Description
The Assistant Executive Housekeeper supports the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing all housekeeping operations to ensure a clean, safe, and guest-ready environment. This role helps manage staff, maintain quality standards, and ensure efficient departmental operations in alignment with brand and company expectations. Key Responsibilities Operations & Quality Control Assist in managing daily housekeeping operations, including room inspections and public area cleanliness Ensure guest rooms meet brand standards for cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance Monitor productivity and ensure timely room turnover Address guest concerns and ensure prompt resolution Staff Supervision & Training Supervise housekeeping staff, including room attendants and housepersons Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new employees Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback Create and manage staff schedules to meet business demands Inventory & Supplies Management Monitor housekeeping inventory levels (linen, amenities, chemicals, equipment) Assist with ordering and controlling departmental expenses Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals and supplies Compliance & Safety Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards Maintain OSHA and brand safety practices within the department Report maintenance issues and coordinate with engineering Administrative Support Assist in preparing daily reports (room status, housekeeping productivity, labor costs) Track lost and found items Support departmental budgeting and cost control efforts
