Competitive salary based on experience, plus benefits consideration for the right candidate A private principal in Scottsdale, Arizona is seeking an experienced, polished, and highly detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to oversee the daily cleanliness, presentation, and overall readiness of a luxury residence. This is a hands-on leadership role for a candidate who takes immense pride in creating and maintaining five-star standards within a private home environment. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional laundry and wardrobe care skills, understand the nuances of fine fabrics and couture garments, and naturally anticipate the needs of the principal while maintaining discretion and professionalism at all times. This position will report directly to the House Manager and will oversee one additional housekeeper to ensure the residence consistently operates at an exceptional standard. Key Responsibilities Maintain the residence to impeccable five-star standards on a daily basis Lead by example through hands-on housekeeping and detailed household care Supervise and coordinate the daily responsibilities of one housekeeper Communicate regularly with the House Manager regarding household priorities, maintenance concerns, inventory needs, and scheduling Perform detailed housekeeping including deep cleaning, organization, and continual upkeep of all living spaces Expertly manage all laundry and wardrobe care, including: Fine linens and bedding Couture and delicate garments Ironing, steaming, pressing, and stain treatment Closet organization and seasonal wardrobe rotation Ensure guest rooms and entertaining spaces are always prepared to a luxury hospitality standard Oversee household inventories including linens, cleaning supplies, toiletries, and household essentials Coordinate with vendors and service providers when required Assist with table settings, light service, and household presentation for occasional entertaining Maintain organization throughout the residence including kitchens, pantries, closets, and storage areas Report maintenance concerns proactively and assist in preserving the overall condition of the home Uphold complete discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times Ideal Candidate Profile Minimum 5+ years of experience working in luxury private homes, estates, yachts, or five-star hospitality environments Prior experience supervising household staff preferred Exceptional laundry and garment care experience is essential Strong understanding of formal household standards and luxury service expectations Detail-oriented with a meticulous eye for cleanliness and presentation Self-starter who can anticipate needs and take initiative without constant direction Warm, polished, professional demeanor with a service-minded attitude Strong communication and organizational skills Physically capable of performing the duties associated with a large luxury residence Flexible schedule when occasional entertaining or special events arise Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Preferred Qualifications Experience working in ultra-high-net-worth households Knowledge of luxury surfaces, antiques, fine furnishings, and specialty care products Background in hospitality or private service training preferred Experience with inventory systems and household organization Schedule Typically Monday through Friday with flexibility required based on the principals' schedule, entertaining, or seasonal needs. Compensation & Benefits Compensation will be commensurate with experience, stability, and overall fit for the household. A competitive benefits package may be offered for the right long-term candidate.
