One California Job Summary and Responsibilities The Environmental Services Supervisor will provide day-to-day supervision for the EVS department under guidance of Director and/or Manager; ensures a consistently high level of environmental hygiene and aesthetics to patients, visitors and staff. This position also is responsible for daily oversight of regulatory standards, financial stewardship of department operations and collaboration with other management team members to support the department in its daily functions. Trains and develops a highly equipped and engaged Environmental Services Team using evidence-based techniques, process and mission metrics (KPIs) to ensure we provide a clean safe environment as we help save lives. Provides supervision of staff, making sound business decisions in support of the hospital's mission, vision and values. Demonstrates supervision in providing an optimal environment for patient care, safety, service, and value. Supervises the day to day operations of the department; ensures a clean safe environment and aesthetics to patients, family, visitors, physicians, nurses and staff as we help save lives.

Job Requirements Required:

High School Graduate General Studies upon hire and 3 Years in Environmental Services or High School GED General Studies upon hire and 3 Years in Environmental Services. Experience with typical EVS equipment/machinery Fire Safety (FIRESAFETY) within 90

Days Preferred:

1 Year in supervisory level experience in supervising staff
