This dual-role position is responsible for ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet cleanliness standards while also assisting with laundry operations to maintain an adequate supply of linens and towels. Housekeeping Inspector Duties Report maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly Coordinate with housekeeping staff to correct deficiencies Monitor housekeeping supplies and inventory Ensure compliance with hotel policies and sanitation standards Inspect guest rooms after cleaning to ensure cleanliness and brand standards are met Ensure that room inspections are performed daily Verify rooms are properly stocked with linens, towels, toiletries, and guest amenities Laundry Attendant Duties Wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels, and uniforms Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently Sort and treat stained items as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry area Assist with linen distribution to housekeeping staff Clean machine filters. Maintain cleanliness in the laundry room Maintain inventory level which includes detergents, bleach, laundry bags, fabric softeners, etc. Keep it updated on a regular basis. Performing and completing any special projects as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor/ Executive Housekeeper or Management. Due to the cyclical nature of the industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules in response to the business needs of the hotel. Qualifications Previous housekeeping or laundry experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Laundry:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs

Housekeeping Inspector:

Constantly requires walking, stooping, bending, and pushing (carts up to 75 pounds) Ability to sit for extended period, bend, twist, squat, push/pull. Physical mobility and stamina. Ability to use radios. Good communication and teamwork skills Flexible schedule availability Bilingual in Spanish is a plus Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed •Constantly = over 2/3 time. Frequently = 1/3-2/3 time. Occasionally = under 1/3 time. This position works primarily inside the hotel in guest rooms, hallways, laundry room, storage areas, and public spaces. The role may require exposure to cleaning chemicals and constant movement throughout the property.

Pay:

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
