Built in 1927, the hotel has played host to stars like Marilyn Monroe, Charlie Chaplin, and Clark Gable. Hollywood Roosevelt is a full-service lifestyle hotel providing guests a glimpse at Hollywood's storied past and offering travelers an experience of Hollywood that is authentic to its history and legacy. What You'll Do The Housekeeping Rooms Inspector is responsible for conducting daily inspections and providing accurate reporting of all areas cleaned by the Housekeeping Department, including guest rooms and public areas. In this role, you will ensure all assigned areas are clean, properly maintained, well-stocked, and in compliance with hotel standards. You will inspect guest rooms and public spaces, examine carpets, drapes, and furniture for stains, damage, or wear, and report any concerns to Housekeeping leadership as needed. You will also check and count linens and supplies according to hotel standards, complete inspection checklists and housekeeping reports, and notify the Engineering Department of any repairs or maintenance issues. This role also supports the Housekeeping leadership team by identifying training opportunities and providing guidance and direction to Room Attendants on cleanliness and quality standards. You may also be asked to assist with cleaning duties and other departmental responsibilities as needed. What We Are Looking For We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable individual with prior housekeeping experience and a strong understanding of cleanliness and guest service standards. Previous experience as a Rooms Inspector or Housekeeping Supervisor is preferred, along with basic knowledge of Opera. The ideal candidate is able to work efficiently under pressure with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards and meeting deadlines. Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively are essential. Candidates should also be adaptable to changing priorities and unexpected situations while consistently following all hotel safety and security procedures. Applicants should have at least two years of progressive experience in Housekeeping. Previous supervisory responsibility and hospitality industry experience are preferred.
