In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire housekeeping department, ensuring impeccable cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. Your leadership will drive team performance, uphold rigorous standards, and implement efficient cleaning and custodial processes. Responsibilities Lead, supervise, and motivate the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional cleaning services aligned with company standards. Develop and implement comprehensive cleaning schedules, including industrial cleaning, janitorial tasks, laundry operations, and specialized sanitation procedures. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and health standards to maintain a safe working environment for all staff. Monitor quality control by conducting regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and maintenance excellence. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and linens, optimizing resources for cost-effective operations. Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service expectations to foster a professional and efficient team. Coordinate with other departments such as maintenance and front desk to address operational needs promptly and effectively. Experience Proven supervisory experience in housekeeping management within hospitality or commercial settings. Extensive janitorial experience with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures across various environments including industrial sites or healthcare facilities. Demonstrated leadership skills in team management, staff development, and conflict resolution. Knowledge of safety regulations related to industrial cleaning, laundry operations, and custodial work. Experience overseeing large teams involved in hotel housekeeping or similar hospitality services. Familiarity with management of custodial supplies, laundry systems, and commercial cleaning equipment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
