As a Housekeeping Supervisor/Inspector at Holiday Inn Express - Steamboat Springs, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness, comfort, and quality of guest rooms and public areas. You'll oversee daily housekeeping operations, inspect rooms for quality standards, and support the housekeeping team in delivering a consistently excellent guest experience in our beautiful mountain location.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily activities of housekeeping staff, ensuring team members are meeting brand and cleanliness standards. Conduct thorough inspections of cleaned guest rooms, ensuring cleanliness, proper setup, and maintenance needs are reported. Provide training, coaching, and support to room attendants, laundry attendants, and public area cleaners. Assist in scheduling staff, tracking room status, and ensuring timely room turnover for arriving guests. Maintain communication with the front desk to ensure room readiness and respond to guest requests or issues promptly. Monitor inventory and assist in ordering housekeeping supplies as needed. Ensure proper use and care of housekeeping equipment and cleaning chemicals. Uphold IHG brand cleanliness standards and cleanliness protocols, including those related to IHG Way of Clean or other hygiene initiatives. Help maintain high morale and a positive, team-oriented work environment. Assist with cleaning guest rooms or public areas as needed during high-occupancy periods.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-2 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel setting required; supervisory experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Ability to lead a team with professionalism and clear communication. Must be reliable, punctual, and organized. Ability to lift, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods; must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. Flexible availability including weekends and holidays. Familiarity with IHG brand standards or experience with IHG hotels is a plus. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required. Why Join Us?
