Job Description

Maintenance-Environmental Services Manager Full Time, Monday - Friday including sharing on call coverage for emergencies Up to $80,000 annually Hartford Area healthcare facility, seeking an exceptional Maintenance/Environmental Services Manager. The ideal candidate will be motivated, efficient, organized, systems-minded, technology-oriented, and a proven leader. He or she will oversee the Maintenance, Housekeeping and Laundry departments to assure that the nursing facility is in good repair, clean with its equipment in working order with high level of satisfaction from customers. We are a very successful facility providing long-term and short-term nursing care. We provide excellent customer service and patient care and have high levels of customer satisfaction. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Assure Preventative Maintenance of building and equipment per CT regulations Assures building and equipment is maintained in good repair Coordinates and executes duties and projects for staff Working manager primarily in the Maintenance Department Assures high level of cleanliness and an orderly environment Assures efficient laundry operation Hires, trains, directs and evaluates maintenance, housekeeping and laundry staff Is fiscally responsible with supply and service budgets
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent 2 years of experience in healthcare maintenance and supervision Organized, efficient and positive.
