Position Summary Assist the Executive Housekeeper in managing the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department while ensuring cleanliness, organization, and exceptional guest service throughout the property. Essential Functions Oversee the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department, ensuring all guest rooms, public areas, and meeting spaces are cleaned and maintained to brand standards. Order and maintain housekeeping chemicals, cleaning supplies, and materials in accordance with budget guidelines and operational needs. Coordinate with the Executive Housekeeper to maintain appropriate stock levels, conduct inventory counts, and manage linen and uniform control procedures. Train, coach, motivate, and support housekeeping team members through ongoing performance management and progressive discipline practices. Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure quality and cleanliness standards are consistently met. Conduct regular linen inventories and assist with inventory control processes. Collaborate with other hotel departments to accommodate guest requests and special needs. Administer and maintain the hotel's lost and found procedures and records. Communicate room status updates promptly and accurately with the Front Desk team. Provide daily supervision and direction to all housekeeping staff members. Ensure all housekeeping associates are in proper uniform with visible name tags while on duty. Assist the Executive Housekeeper with scheduling, payroll preparation, and employee relations matters. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by Hotel Leadership. Additional Responsibilities Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, safety standards, and work rules as outlined in the employee handbook and company guidelines. Education and Experience Previous housekeeping supervisory or management experience required. Experience training, supervising, and mentoring multicultural and multilingual teams preferred. Skills and Abilities Ability to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and maintain a flexible schedule as business demands require. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
