Full Job Description Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to oversee our housekeeping operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in hotel or hospitality industry, with a strong background in housekeeping management. As the Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of all areas within the facility.

Duties:

• Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and policies to maintain high standards of cleanliness
• Supervise and train housekeeping staff, including scheduling and assigning tasks
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and adherence to safety standards
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction
• Handle guest complaints or requests promptly and effectively
• Oversee floor care, including carpet cleaning, waxing, and polishing
• Monitor budget and expenses related to housekeeping department
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in housekeeping management

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, including custodial, industrial cleaning, and floor care
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Proven leadership abilities with the capability to motivate and manage a team
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficient in using computer software for scheduling, inventory management, and reporting This is a full-time position with competitive pay based on experience.
