PM Salary:

$60,000 - $65,000 annually (based on experience) Job Summary Heartland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Environmental Services Director to lead our housekeeping operations. This role is essential in ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, organization, and compliance knowledge within a skilled nursing setting. Key Responsibilities Oversee all housekeeping operations and Environmental Services staff Maintain a clean, sanitary, and orderly facility in accordance with policies and regulations Hire, train, schedule, and supervise department personnel Conduct routine daily, weekly, and monthly inspections Develop and implement effective cleaning systems and programs Manage inventory and purchasing of supplies, equipment, and chemicals Maintain departmental records, reports, and documentation Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations Participate in disaster preparedness planning and emergency drills Collaborate with the Administrator on budgeting and operational needs Evaluate staff performance and provide coaching, counseling, and disciplinary action when needed Maintain and enforce a master cleaning schedule for the entire facility Serve as a member of the QAPI Committee Attend department head meetings and required in-services Participate in Infection Control Committee meetings Support facility-wide quality improvement initiatives Requirements Prior experience in a nursing home or skilled nursing facility required Previous supervisory or management experience preferred Strong knowledge of environmental services operations and regulations Basic computer skills Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team Strong organizational and communication skills Benefits Comprehensive Medical & Dental Coverage Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) Retirement Plan Employee Recognition Program Supportive, team-oriented work environment Company perks and employee discounts Join Our Team If you are a dedicated leader with a passion for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in a healthcare setting, we encourage you to apply and become part of our team at Heartland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
