Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
The Housekeeper Inspector will be responsible for inspecting rental units after they have been cleaned.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
Assists in managing the Housekeeping Department to ensure the provision of a clean and safe environment for guests and owners. Assists with assigning work schedules for personnel in the housekeeping. Ensures that the units are maintained in an odor free and clean condition. Takes immediate action on any observed deficiencies. Inspector will spot clean if needed, and note any missed items on check list. Reviews and evaluates the work performance of assigned personnel and reports to the Housekeeper Supervisor any disciplinary actions the might be needed. It is the Housekeeper Supervisor's role to discipline and do write ups if necessary. Places work orders when necessary. Informs Housekeeping Supervisor if carpet & upholstery cleaning is necessary in a unit. Assist in training housekeepers if needed Respond to guest and owner requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner. Informs Housekeeping Supervisor in writing of items that need replacing in units as they arise. Keeps detail records of units, supplies placed in units, damages, carpet & upholstery cleaning, etc. and informs Housekeeping Supervisor. Housekeeping Inspectors are always working on behalf of our Guests, and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow: Previous experience in resort Housekeeping Strong organizational and analytic skills An attention to details Strong communication skills A passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service Proficiency, preferred, with computers and computer programs, including
