Housekeeping Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in custodial services, floor care, and housekeeping management within the hospitality or industrial cleaning sectors. This role is crucial in ensuring that our facilities maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, providing a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Responsibilities Manage and supervise housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery. Develop and implement cleaning schedules to maintain cleanliness in all areas of the facility. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards. Train new housekeeping employees on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; order supplies as needed to ensure adequate stock levels. Address guest inquiries and complaints regarding cleanliness promptly and professionally. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special requests or events requiring additional cleaning services. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices. Qualifications Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality or industrial cleaning industry. Strong knowledge of custodial practices, floor care techniques, and cleaning equipment usage. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
