Duties Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality cleaning standards. Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations. Inspect guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas regularly to verify cleanliness, safety, and maintenance. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained. Enforce health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Address guest requests or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues effectively. Develop work schedules that optimize staffing levels during peak times while fostering a positive team environment. Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning equipment. Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Familiarity with hospitality industry practices and customer service excellence. Ability to train staff in custodial practices, sanitation standards, and housekeeping management. Effective communication skills to coordinate with other departments and address guest needs confidently.
