Housekeeping Director

A Nursing and Rehab Center in Alphatetta , GA is looking for a Director of Housekeeping to join our team. Position Purpose The Director of Housekeeping is responsible to maintain overall cleanliness of the facility to the highest standard possible. The Director manages the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping/Laundry departments, ensuring a consistently high level of cleanliness and appearance to patients, visitors and staff via managing and directing Environmental Services staff, budgets, equipment and supplies. Responsibilities Plans, develops, organizes, implements, evaluates, and directs the Housekeeping Department, its programs and activities. Ensures the facility remains in compliance with all federal, state and local regulations for Life Safety Code compliance. Reviews the department's policies, procedure manuals, job descriptions, etc., at least annually for revisions and makes recommendations to the Assistant Administrator/Administrator. Prepares operating and staffing budgets for maintenance and monitors monthly. Supervise and support the Housekeeping Department staff to ensure exceptional cleanliness and safety throughout the facility. Plan, coordinate, and assign work schedules, ensuring all areas are covered and tasks are completed efficiently. Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings to enhance team collaboration and performance. Ensure compliance with all facility policies and procedures related to housekeeping, updating them as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS

3 years Director of Housekeeping experience in a Skilled Nursing facility Knowledge of federal and state regulations Strong leadership and team building skills
