A leading, nationally recognized midscale hotel brand in the Richmond Hill, GA area is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team! The Role As the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guest rooms and public areas consistently meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. You will lead, train, and motivate our housekeeping team, driving efficient daily operations and exceptional guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Team Leadership:
Supervise, train, and assist housekeeping staff (room attendants, laundry attendants, and public area attendants) in their daily tasks.
Quality Assurance:
Inspect guest rooms and public areas daily to ensure immaculate cleanliness and adherence to brand standards.
Daily Operations:
Clean rooms alongside the team as needed during peak times or short-staffing.
Inventory & Tracking:
Monitor and manage inventory for cleaning supplies and linens; assist with tracking reports necessary for brand compliance.
Guest Relations:
Address guest requests and concerns promptly, professionally, and with a hospitality-first mindset.
Safety & Compliance:
Maintain a safe and secure working environment, implementing and enforcing hotel policies and procedures.
Performance Management:
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Cross-Department Collaboration:
Work closely with the front desk and maintenance leadership to ensure seamless hotel operations.
Qualifications Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years of progressive experience in hotel housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role preferred.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning chemicals, equipment, and OSHA/safety procedures.
Leadership:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills to lead a diverse team.
Detail-Oriented:
Exceptional attention to detail and a strict commitment to quality.
Flexibility:
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, weekends, and holidays as required by hotel occupancy.
Education/Language:
