Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities across all areas, ensuring adherence to established standards of cleanliness and safety. Train and mentor housekeeping staff in proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service expectations. Conduct regular inspections of work areas to maintain high-quality custodial standards for both routine cleaning and specialized tasks. Schedule shifts efficiently to meet operational needs while optimizing team productivity. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment and proper maintenance. Address guest or staff concerns promptly, resolving issues related to cleanliness or service delivery with professionalism. Enforce health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, to protect staff and visitors. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures. Previous supervisory or team-leading experience in a housekeeping or custodial environment is highly desirable. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and equipment operation. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong communication skills to effectively train staff and interact with guests or team members. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy supplies, and perform physically demanding tasks as needed.
