Job Description

Director of Housekeeping Join a high-performing hotel team where your leadership drives exceptional guest experiences. We're seeking a hands-on Director of Housekeeping in Waikiki to lead operations, elevate service standards, and build a strong, motivated team. What You'll Do Lead and develop the housekeeping team, driving accountability, engagement, and performance Ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet the highest cleanliness standards Oversee daily operations, including room inspections, VIP readiness, and high-volume turn days Manage hiring, training, scheduling, and payroll for the department Maintain inventory, control costs, and ensure efficient use of supplies and equipment Partner with Engineering and other departments to resolve maintenance and service issues quickly Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance satisfaction scores Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and operational standards Manage vendor relationships and outsourced services as needed What You Bring 3+ years of progressive housekeeping leadership experience in a hotel or similar environment Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, high-volume setting Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Experience with scheduling, payroll, and inventory management Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed Why Join Us Opportunity to lead a critical department and make a visible impact on guest experience Fast-paced, team-oriented environment Growth potential within hotel leadership
