The Hyatt Regency Coralville Hotel & Conference Center is seeking an energetic, service-focused Housekeeping Supervisor to help lead our housekeeping team in delivering clean, comfortable, and welcoming accommodations for every guest. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll coach and support associates, inspect guest rooms and public spaces, ensure Hyatt brand standards are met, and help create an exceptional experience for both guests and team members. You'll support, coach, and develop your team while helping create exceptional experiences for both our guests and fellow associates.
Responsibilities include:
Lead, coach, and support Room Attendants, Housepersons, and Public Area Attendants Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure Hyatt brand standards are met Coordinate daily assignments and staffing priorities Train, mentor, and develop housekeeping associates Assist with performance coaching and documentation Respond promptly to guest requests and service recovery opportunities Oversee Lost & Found procedures Monitor safety, security, and key control procedures Assist with inventory, supplies, and department administration Step in to support the team as needed during peak occupancy Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure an exceptional guest experience What We're Looking For We're looking for a motivated leader who takes pride in developing others, leading by example, and creating exceptional guest experiences. Ideal candidates will have:
Strong attention to detail, organizational and leadership skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Dependability and a strong work ethic A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, pull, and move throughout the shift Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Bilingual preferred Previous housekeeping, cleaning, or hospitality experience is required.
