Job DescriptionResponsible for supervising casino housekeeping and maintenance staff during assigned shift. Ensure that all housekeeping, maintenance work, and emergency matters are responded to and resolved in an appropriate and timely manner.
Lead day to day activities and functions performed within the assigned shift are in accordance with the company's business objectives, budgetary guidelines, and established safety standards.
Manage assignments, work priorities, leadership decisions, and ensure the completion of projects in a timely, efficient and effective manner.
Create a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, respect and team member satisfaction, quality hiring, training and succession planning processes.
Works closely in mentoring and coaching direct reports with additional tasks and responsibilities to optimize advancement opportunities available for the team.
Ensures high level of service standards for the department as well as exceptional inter-departmental collaboration, communication and support.
Monitor and communicate building infrastructure needs.
Lead department emergency response plan when necessary, during such events.
Possesses thorough computer abilities using basic Microsoft Office programs, work order management system, and building automation systems.
Assist Facility Manager by ensuring efficient and proper operation of the department and staff during assigned shift.
Schedule and delegate assignments to maintenance and housekeeping staff.
Assign preventive maintenance procedures and schedules.
Oversee daily cleaning of the property including Casino floor, restrooms, slot machines, etc...QualificationsMust be 18 years or older.
Six (6) months of prior experience in a similar position preferred.
Must be able to stand and walk throughout shift.
Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and work in confined areas.
Must be able to safely and effectively perform duties assigned.
Must be able to carry and communicate by two-way radio.
Must have excellent communication skills.
