Job Title:

Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor Salary:

starting at $15/hr

Schedule:

Full to part time

Duties:

• Train housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks
• Oversee staff on a daily basis
• Check rooms and common areas, including stairways and lounge areas, for cleanliness
• Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence, manage labor expense and overall budget for department
• Establish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene standards
• Perform day-to-day housekeeping/laundry functions
• Clean resident rooms, common areas, and administrative areas
• Clean and maintain housekeeping equipment
• Restock main cart before going off duty and as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred
• If no experience, on-the-job training will be provided
• knowledgeable of housekeeping practices and procedures in the long-term care facility preferred
• Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, procedures, etc.
