Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as the Assistant Head of Housekeeping, where you will play a vital role in maintaining exceptional cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Duties Assist the Housekeeping Manager in coordinating daily cleaning schedules and staff assignments to ensure efficient operations. Supervise housekeeping team members, providing guidance, training, and motivation to uphold cleanliness standards. Oversee cleaning procedures across all hotel areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house facilities. Ensure proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies, adhering to safety protocols. Conduct regular inspections to verify that cleanliness, floor care, and sanitation meet company standards and regulatory requirements. Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels of cleaning supplies and ordering replenishments as needed. Respond promptly to guest requests or issues related to cleanliness, ensuring a positive guest experience. Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial management with a strong background in janitorial and industrial cleaning. Expertise in floor care techniques and maintaining various surfaces within a hospitality environment. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Knowledge of cleaning products, safety procedures, and equipment operation. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Strong understanding of hospitality standards and guest service excellence.
