The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a background in hospitality, ensuring that our guests receive the highest standards of cleanliness and service. This role requires effective management of housekeeping staff, coordination of cleaning schedules, and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and cleaning when necessary. The position will mostly work evenings. The hours can vary between 1:00pm-10pm. Responsibilities Manage and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure efficient operations. Develop and implement cleaning procedures and standards for all areas. Oversee daily cleaning tasks including guest rooms, public areas, and laundry services. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards. Train and mentor staff on best practices in custodial care and commercial cleaning. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary. Address guest inquiries or complaints regarding housekeeping services promptly. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the housekeeping department. Requirements Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team effectively proven by work experience. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment used in commercial cleaning. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with staff and guests. A commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. At least 1 year of supervisory experience in support service related field with high customer/client contact. Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations.
