Housekeeping Inspector

Duties Perform detailed inspections of guest rooms, suites, and public areas to verify cleanliness, safety, and overall presentation. Identify areas needing attention or repair and communicate effectively with housekeeping staff to ensure prompt resolution. Monitor cleaning procedures, including floor care, surface sanitation, and waste disposal, to maintain hygiene standards. Conduct regular audits of janitorial supplies and equipment to ensure proper usage and inventory levels. Enforce safety protocols related to industrial cleaning and custodial practices to protect staff and guests alike. Document inspection findings accurately, complete reports, and follow up on corrective actions as needed. Support housekeeping management by providing training insights and feedback on cleaning procedures to enhance service quality. Qualifications Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques. Knowledge of floor care methods, including carpet cleaning, polishing, and maintenance of various flooring types. Previous experience in hospitality environments or hotel settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with janitorial equipment, industrial cleaning tools, and safety standards related to custodial work. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple inspections efficiently. Ability to communicate clearly with team members and management regarding inspection outcomes.
