Stassi II Community Care Center, will be the Greater New Orleans area's newest skilled nursing & rehabilitation center, and we are looking to grow our team. Designed for person-centered care, John A. Stassi II Community Care Center will be the first of its kind in the area and will provide care in an atmosphere that promotes resident choice and creates a more home-like setting. We are seeking the right candidate for the position of Housekeeping Supervisor . In this vital role, you will ensure that our residents reside in a clean and comfortable environment at all times. Primary Duties Responsible for the overall management and operation of housekeeping/laundry department including budget control, staffing, cleaning, sanitation, equipment maintenance and operation Ensure the nursing facility is clean and in a sanitary condition to provide for the welfare and care of the residents in a healthy and clean environment.

The Ideal Candidate:

Prior work experience in environmental services is preferred Ability to lead a team, including hiring and training staff. High school diploma or equivalent. Provide patience and compassion when working with residents and family members. Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members and team members. Strong attention to detail. Staying current on the individual procedures and protocols for the facility, including state-specified rules and regulations. A desire and commitment to working with the elderly.
