The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in custodial, janitorial, and hospitality-related cleaning services, with proven supervisory and leadership skills. As an Environmental Supervisor, you will ensure that all cleaning, laundry, and custodial operations meet high standards of safety, efficiency, and environmental compliance. Your role is vital in maintaining a clean, safe, and sustainable environment across various facilities. Responsibilities Supervise daily cleaning, janitorial, laundry, and custodial operations to ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations. Lead and train staff members in proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and the use of cleaning equipment. Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols tailored to different areas such as hotels, hospitals, or commercial facilities. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, laundry products, and custodial equipment; manage procurement processes efficiently. Enforce compliance with environmental policies and health regulations to promote sustainable practices within the organization. Conduct regular inspections to assess cleanliness standards and address any deficiencies promptly. Collaborate with management teams to optimize housekeeping management processes in hospitality or hotel environments. Foster a positive team environment that encourages leadership development among staff members. Assist with room moves and deep cleaning of resident rooms. Ensure common areas are kept clean. Skills Extensive experience in cleaning, janitorial services, laundry operations, or custodial work within long term care experience. Proven supervising experience with strong leadership capabilities to manage diverse teams effectively. Knowledge of management principles related to housekeeping management and commercial cleaning practices. Familiarity with long term care standards for cleanliness and guest service excellence. Ability to develop efficient cleaning routines while maintaining high safety standards. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in overseeing multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills for training staff and coordinating with other departments effectively.
