Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Environmental Services (EVS) to lead our housekeeping operations and ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, guests, and team members. This leadership role is responsible for maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards throughout the facility while overseeing housekeeping staff and daily operations. Key Responsibilities Lead, supervise, and support the Environmental Services team. Develop and manage housekeeping schedules for resident apartments, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and infection prevention throughout the community. Respond promptly and professionally to resident requests and service needs. Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are consistently met. Manage inventory, supplies, and linen distribution. Ensure compliance with safety procedures, including chemical handling and hazardous material protocols. Train, coach, and develop team members to deliver exceptional service. Foster a positive, resident-focused culture through professionalism and attention to detail. QualificationsEducation High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience Minimum of 2 years of experience with housekeeping or environmental services required. Experience with commercial cleaning equipment, tools, and chemicals required. Experience creating and managing staff schedules preferred. Senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or related industry experience is highly desirable. Schedule Full-time position. Must be available to work rotating weekends and holidays as needed.
