Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of housekeeping staff to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel. The Housekeeping Inspector will assist the Housekeeping Supervisor in overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department and will be responsible for inspecting rooms and implementing cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
  • Direct the housekeeping staff to ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the hotel's guest rooms and public areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained.
  • Implement cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure that the hotel meets the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
  • Assist with managing inventory levels to ensure that the hotel is always stocked with the necessary supplies.
  • Provide training and guidance to the housekeeping staff to ensure that they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Ensure that all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and repaired.
  • Work closely with other departments, including front desk and maintenance, to ensure that all aspects of the hotel's operations are running smoothly.
Experience:
  • Experience in a housekeeping role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Proven experience in implementing cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
  • Experience in supervising and training housekeeping staff.
  • Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and procedures.
  • Knowledge of hospitality standards and practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Physical stamina to perform the duties of the role, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and protocols.
  • Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Pay:
$17.75 per hour
