Head Housekeeper

Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and adherence to quality standards. Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and protocols that meet industry best practices for cleanliness and safety. Oversee the maintenance of all cleaning equipment, supplies, and inventory, ensuring optimal functionality and cost-effectiveness. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, and other facilities to uphold cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards. Train new team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service expectations. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning initiatives, including carpet care and industrial cleaning tasks. Foster a positive team environment by motivating staff, providing ongoing feedback, and promoting a culture of excellence in hospitality service. Experience Proven experience in janitorial work or custodial services within a hospitality or hotel setting. Demonstrated expertise in cleaning techniques including floor care, industrial cleaning, and specialized sanitation procedures. Prior experience managing housekeeping teams or leading custodial staff in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of hotel operations, hospitality standards, and guest service principles is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with cleaning equipment maintenance and inventory management practices.
