About Trails Travel Center:

Trails Travel Center is a large, fast-paced travel stop serving thousands of guests each day. With a full food court, retail shops, fuel services, and private showers, we are a destination for travelers who expect comfort, convenience, and cleanliness. We are currently seeking a dedicated Head of Housekeeping to lead our housekeeping team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness throughout our facility.

Position Overview:

As Head of Housekeeping, you'll be responsible for managing a team of 12-14 housekeeping staff. You'll oversee scheduling, training, quality control, and daily operations to ensure our food court, restrooms, showers, and all public areas are clean, safe, and welcoming.

Key Responsibilities:

 Supervise and lead the housekeeping team (12-14 employees)  Create and manage weekly staff schedules  Train new team members and provide ongoing support  Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met  Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies  Coordinate with other departments to support overall facility operations  Enforce safety and sanitation protocols in compliance with health regulations  Assist with hiring, performance evaluations, and team development  Step in to assist with cleaning as needed during peak times or staffing shortages

Qualifications:

 2+ years of experience in a housekeeping supervisor or lead role  Strong leadership and communication skills  Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment  Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented  Flexible availability

• weekends and holidays required  Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
