The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping management, with a focus on guest room cleaning and hospitality. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guest satisfaction through effective team leadership and operational excellence. Duties Oversee daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility. Train, mentor, and supervise housekeeping staff to uphold high standards of cleanliness and service. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards. Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures for efficient workflow. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring all necessary items are stocked and maintained. Address guest concerns or complaints regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and enhance the overall guest experience. Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff performance evaluations and training documentation. Requirements Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning practices. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a team. Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends. evenings and holidays as needed. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with staff, guests, and management.
