Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning, laundry, and custodial tasks, to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the property Lead and motivate housekeeping staff by providing clear direction, training, and ongoing support to foster a productive team environment Monitor cleaning procedures and inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces for quality assurance and adherence to safety protocols Manage scheduling, assign tasks efficiently, and ensure adequate staffing coverage during shifts Oversee inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; place orders as needed to maintain operational efficiency Enforce health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices and ensure compliance with all relevant standards in hospitality and custodial services Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects or deep-clean initiatives during low occupancy periods Experience Proven supervisory or leadership experience in housekeeping or janitorial services within a hotel or hospitality environment Strong background in cleaning techniques, including commercial cleaning and laundry operations Demonstrated management skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively Extensive janitorial or custodial experience with knowledge of safety standards and best practices in cleanliness management Familiarity with hotel operations, hospitality standards, and guest service excellence is highly desirable Leadership qualities such as excellent communication skills, problem-solving ability, and a proactive approach to team development This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to make a tangible impact on guest experiences through meticulous cleanliness and outstanding leadership.
