This role is hands-on and requires working alongside the housekeeping team to ensure all guest rooms and public areas meet IHG cleanliness standards.

Compensation:

$17.75 hourly

Responsibilities:

Assist with inspecting guest rooms to ensure cleanliness and brand standards are met Support housekeeping staff with cleaning guest rooms as needed Assist with laundry operations, including sorting, washing, folding, and distribution of linens Help coordinate daily housekeeping assignments and priorities Ensure rooms are ready on time for guest arrivals and occupancy Maintain the cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts, closets, and storage areas Report maintenance issues and room deficiencies promptly Provide support to the Housekeeping Supervisor in daily operations Manage the daily tasks of the housekeeping department, including cleaning guest rooms and public areas Document areas cleaned by room attendants and report any issues, such as room damage or maintenance requests, to the front office Take inventory and ensure an adequate stock of cleaning supplies Ensure all cleaning equipment is in proper working condition and arrange for repairs as needed Train housekeeping staff to perform cleaning duties and deliver customer satisfaction to expectations

Qualifications:

Must be available to work weekends and holidays Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred but not required Strong attention to detail and work ethic Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Ability to lift, bend, push, and pull housekeeping equipment and supplies as needed Bilingual a plus About Company At Ark Hospitality, we believe great guest experiences start with great team members.
