Housekeeping Supervisor

A Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervising and maintaining designated areas of the hotel and responding to guest requests as well as assisting any department in the hotel as deemed necessary in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Typical Duties Include:

• Job description We are seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to oversee and manage the housekeeping operations at our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping management within the hospitality industry.

Duties:

• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure high standards of cleanliness
• Supervise and train housekeeping staff, including hiring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure they meet cleanliness standards
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
• Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally
• Ensure policies and procedures and brand standards are adhered to as established by hotel

Experience:

• Proven experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, custodial practices, floor care, and sanitation standards
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Job requirements:
• Dependability, customer focus, adaptability
• Housekeeping experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with managers and other personnel.
• Must be proficient in English.
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).
• Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays and weekends.
