This hourly, part-time position oversees weekend housekeeping operations, ensuring that rooms and public areas meet our quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, can effectively lead and motivate a team, and communicates clearly in English while coordinating daily tasks and responding to guest needs. What You'll Do Supervise weekend housekeeping operations for the Rooms department, ensuring all rooms and common areas meet cleanliness and presentation standards Assign, prioritize, and follow up on daily room and area cleaning tasks for housekeeping staff Inspect guest rooms and public spaces to verify quality, cleanliness, and adherence to safety and hygiene protocols Provide hands-on support with cleaning and room turnovers during peak times or as needed Lead, coach, and support housekeeping team members to achieve performance and service goals Communicate clearly with staff and management regarding room status, maintenance issues, and staffing needs Ensure proper use and care of housekeeping equipment, supplies, and cleaning chemicals Monitor inventory of linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies and report replenishment needs Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests or concerns related to housekeeping Promote a safe work environment by following and enforcing health, safety, and sanitation guidelines Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of housekeeping or related hospitality experience preferred Previous experience in a supervisory or lead role is preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards Proven ability to lead, motivate, and support a small team Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing Comfortable working weekends and a part-time, hourly schedule Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift moderate weights for extended periods Basic knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safety procedures Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time and priorities in a fast-paced environment
