ABOUT THE ROLE
Swell Property Management is a growing short-term rental company operating a portfolio of luxury properties across the Flathead Valley. We're looking for a driven, highly organized Cleaning Manager to own all aspects of our cleaning operations — from scheduling and managing our cleaning team to hands-on property inspections and inventory control. This is a leadership role for someone who takes pride in a spotless property and can keep a team running smoothly even on a busy summer weekend. Hours vary significantly by season. Summers are fast-paced and high-volume — expect heavy scheduling, frequent property visits, and close communication with your team. Winters are slower, but the role remains active with inspections, inventory management, and preparation for the next busy season.RESPONSIBILITIES
Schedule and assign all cleans across all properties, ensuring no gaps or overlaps Manage, train, and support a team of cleaners — setting expectations and holding the team accountable to our quality standards Conduct regular property inspections to ensure cleans meet Swell Property Management standards Perform hands-on cleaning of properties as needed (especially during high-volume periods or when a cleaner is unavailable) Manage and restock all cleaning supplies and inventory across all properties — keeping everything stocked and organized Coordinate closely with the maintenance team and property manager when issues are discovered during cleans or inspections Communicate proactively with property owners and the operations team about the condition and status of each property Respond promptly to cleaner questions, urgent issues, and scheduling changes — including on weekends and holidays Drive regularly between properties throughout the Flathead Valley to inspect, supply, and support cleans Document and report property issues, damage, and supply needs in a timely mannerREQUIREMENTS
✓ Strong organizational and scheduling skills ✓ Experience managing or supervising a team ✓ Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) ✓ Reliable personal vehicle (until company vehicle is provided) ✓ Smartphone required — must be accessible by text/call 24/7 ✓ Comfortable with early mornings, weekends, and holiday availability ✓ Attention to detail and high personal standards for cleanliness ✓ Ability to work independently and manage time without supervision ✓ Comfortable with driving throughout the Flathead Valley daily ✓ Physical ability to perform cleaning duties asWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate is a natural organizer who can juggle multiple properties, a changing schedule, and a team of cleaners — all while maintaining excellent communication and a positive attitude. You take ownership of your domain. When something goes wrong at 8pm on a Saturday, you're already on it. You're proud of the properties you manage, and guests can tell. Prior experience in property management, hospitality housekeeping supervision, or cleaning operations management is a strong plus. What matters most is your ability to lead, communicate, and deliver consistently excellent results.Base Salary:
