Weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings required About the Opportunity Hotel is seeking an experienced, hands-on Executive Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping department and elevate the overall guest experience. We are looking for a dedicated leader who takes pride in maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards, developing strong teams, and creating a culture of accountability and reliability. This role is ideal for a self-starter who can work independently with little to no direct oversight while confidently leading daily operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, committed to team development, and willing to step in wherever needed to ensure operational success. We are seeking someone who understands the importance of consistency, punctuality, and professionalism and who can develop training programs that improve team performance, attendance accountability, retention, and operational efficiency. We highly value bilingual leaders who can effectively communicate with and develop a diverse housekeeping team while fostering a positive and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee daily housekeeping operations to ensure all guest rooms and public areas consistently meet brand and cleanliness standards Develop, implement, and maintain effective training programs focused on productivity, attendance accountability, cleanliness standards, and employee development Build and maintain a dependable team culture that encourages retention, accountability, teamwork, and professional growth Train, supervise, coach, motivate, and hold accountable room attendants, housemen, and laundry staff Foster positive team morale through strong leadership, communication, and team-building initiatives Step in to assist with room cleaning and housekeeping operations as needed Identify performance issues promptly and implement corrective action through coaching, retraining, and accountability measures Manage and execute deep-cleaning programs to ensure thorough and timely completion Create weekly schedules and manage labor efficiently based on hotel occupancy and business demands Conduct daily inspections of vacant/ready rooms, due-outs, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are consistently achieved Maintain organized housekeeping documentation, reports, logs, and department communication Oversee inventory control, supply ordering, linen management, and proper use of housekeeping equipment and chemicals Utilize advanced cleaning knowledge and best practices to maintain high sanitation and presentation standards Coordinate closely with maintenance and front desk teams to support smooth hotel operations and guest satisfaction Handle guest requests and resolve complaints professionally, efficiently, and with a service-focused attitude Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and brand standards Introduce new ideas, systems, and operational improvements to strengthen department performance and efficiency Qualifications Previous hotel housekeeping management or supervisory experience required IHG experience preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) required; must be able to effectively communicate, train, coach, and support team members in both languages Proven ability to train, lead, motivate, and retain a diverse team Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage independently and make sound decisions with minimal oversight Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities Hands-on leadership style with exceptional attention to detail Experience with inventory management, supply control, and labor management Advanced knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, equipment, and hotel cleanliness standards Strong team-building and conflict-resolution skills Ability to identify operational issues and implement effective solutions quickly Strong communication skills and willingness to accept and apply feedback Professional, dependable, and dedicated work ethic Desire to grow professionally and continuously improve department performance Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings Why Join Us?
