Job Description

Housekeeping Inspector 507 North Mcpherson Church Road, Fayetteville, NC 28303 $14 an hour
  • Full-time $14 an hour
  • Full-time A housekeeping inspector in a hotel is responsible for ensuring rooms and public areas meet the hotel's cleanliness and quality standards.
This involves visually inspecting rooms after they have been cleaned by room attendants, verifying that all items are in place and the room is in optimal condition for guests. They also manage room status updates in the property management system, track inventory, and may assist with training and supervising room attendants.
Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain designated areas, including guest rooms, lobbies, hallways, and common areas
  • Perform general housekeeping duties such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
  • Change linens and make beds in guest rooms
  • Stock and replenish amenities and supplies in guest rooms and common areas
  • Empty trash and dispose of waste in a sanitary manner
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
  • Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and safety
Skills:
  • Hospitality:
    Provide excellent customer service to guests and ensure their satisfaction
  • Hotel:
    Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards and procedures
  • Custodial:
    Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals used in custodial work
  • Housekeeping management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and coordinate with other team members
  • Floor care: Experience in floor cleaning and maintenance, including carpet cleaning and hard floor care (e.g., mopping, waxing)
  • Industrial cleaning: Understanding of industrial cleaning practices for commercial settings
Clean:
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized environment
