Housekeeping Supervisor

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the housekeeping staff and ensure that all areas of the facility are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Your leadership will contribute to creating a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike, while promoting best practices in cleaning and maintenance. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Implement effective housekeeping procedures that promote safety and efficiency within the team. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations within the facility. Qualifications Proven experience in housekeeping management or a supervisory role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and janitorial practices. Previous hotel experience is preferred; familiarity with industrial cleaning or custodial experience is a plus. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
