Job Description
Certified Executive Housekeeper (CEH)/Certified Environmental Services Executive (CESE) - Salisbury, NC Training Technologies and Support, Inc., a service disabled, veteran owned small business, is seeking experienced and qualified individuals who hold a current Certified Executive Housekeeper (CEH) or Certified Environmental Services Executive Certification to support our government customer in Salisbury, NC. The executive housekeeper leads a team of 8-12 janitors on one of three janitorial shifts supporting a healthcare facility and is responsible for directing, supervising, and coordinating the department's daily activities to ensure smooth operations. The executive housekeeper ensures cleanliness, maintenance, standards, and customer satisfaction by leading and directing the janitorial staff. •Please do not apply if you cannot submit a current/valid CEH or CESE Certificate! Key Responsibilities Provide on-site supervision and leadership of janitorial personnel across assigned shift. Ensure compliance with CDC, OSHA, and Joint Commission standards. Oversee infection control practices, including terminal cleaning and disinfection procedures. Conduct routine inspections and quality control audits of cleaning services. Coordinate directly with Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and facility staff. Manage staff scheduling, task assignments, and performance monitoring. Maintain documentation related to quality assurance, safety, and training. Lead and support continuous improvement efforts in cleaning operation. Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal. Ensure use of proper cleaning agents and methods for surfaces, equipment, and environments as specified by medical center protocols. Must be available for on-call/emergency response (within 1 hour) as required Complete any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Certified Executive Housekeeper (CEH) certification or CESE (Certified Environmental Services Executive)(active and in good standing) designation from an accredited program (i.e., National Executive Housekeeping Association (NEHA), Indoor Environmental Healthcare and Hospitality Association (IEHA) is required). Minimum of at least 1 year of supervisory experience in janitorial services in a healthcare setting, within the last 3 years. Knowledge of OSHA, CDC, and Joint Commission compliance frameworks. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills required to maintain professionalism in a medical facility Demonstrate basic computer skills required to complete timecards and perform other administrative tasks. Demonstrated knowledge of infection control protocols, hospital grade cleaning standard, and environmental services operations Able to pass a federal government background check Must possess (or obtain in a timely manner) a Real ID (a state-issued ID compliant with the Federal REAL ID Act, marked with a gold star) from the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV)Term of Employment:
