This pivotal role involves overseeing daily operations, managing cleaning standards, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests and staff. As an energetic leader, you will motivate your team to maintain the highest levels of hygiene, organization, and guest satisfaction, driving excellence in every aspect of housekeeping management. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all housekeeping activities, including cleaning, laundry, and custodial services, to ensure consistent quality standards. Lead and motivate a team of housekeeping staff by providing training, guidance, and performance feedback to foster a motivated and efficient workforce. Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and safety procedures aligned with hospitality industry standards. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; place orders as needed to maintain operational efficiency. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to uphold cleanliness and safety standards. Manage guest requests related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally to enhance overall guest experience. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects or event setups while maintaining daily service excellence. Qualifications Proven supervising or management experience in housekeeping within a hotel or hospitality setting. Strong background in cleaning techniques, janitorial practices, laundry operations, and custodial services. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively. Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies; experience in hotel or hospitality environments is highly preferred. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to develop efficient schedules and workflows. Knowledge of safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use; commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Previous experience in housekeeper management or hospitality leadership roles is a plus.
