Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and inspire our housekeeping team for the Best Western Plus Keene. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities to ensure timely and thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces Train, mentor, and motivate housekeeping staff to uphold quality standards and safety protocols Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas to verify cleanliness, floor care, and overall presentation Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; place orders as needed to maintain operational efficiency Implement and monitor cleaning procedures aligned with industry best practices, including janitorial and industrial cleaning techniques Address guest requests or concerns promptly to enhance satisfaction and resolve issues effectively Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, inspections, maintenance requests, and staff performance Enforce health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all team members Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial roles with a strong understanding of hospitality standards Expertise in cleaning techniques, floor care methods (such as carpet cleaning, polishing), and industrial cleaning processes Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, supervise, and motivate a diverse team Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inspections and record keeping Knowledge of janitorial equipment operation and maintenance Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment Effective communication skills for collaborating with staff and addressing guest needs Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and safety regulations Join us as a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead a dedicated team in creating clean, comfortable environments that delight our guests.
