Job Description
We are seeking a seasonal, detail-oriented and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our cleaning team from May - Sept.(approximately 25 - 28 hours/week) In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating staff shifts, inspecting rooms and common areas, and ensuring all safety and sanitation standards are met to provide a safe and welcoming environment. Twin Lake Village is an old fashioned family resort located on Little Lake Sunapee in New London, NH with cottages, suites and hotel rooms. Our guests typically come for a week at a time (Saturday- Saturday) with a few coming and going throughout the week. We are looking for someone to start early May to help us with pre-season cleaning. We close for the season on Labor Day are looking for someone who is available to help us through post-season shut down which is generally mid-Sept. During our season (summer guests arrive June 26nd) Hours are roughly 8 - noon with a full day 8-4pm on Saturday as this is the day that we flip a majority of the property for new guests. Saturday Availability is required (June 20th- Sept 5th) Housekeeping Supervisor responsibilities include organizing employee schedules, training and motivating team members and checking cottages, hotel rooms and public areas for tidiness. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of sanitation regulations and team management abilities. Ultimately, you will help ensure our daily housekeeping operations run smoothly and that guests are satisfied.
Responsibilities Team Leadership:
Supervise, train, and motivate the housekeeping staff.Quality Control:
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet cleanliness and maintenance standards.Operational Management:
Create and manage staff schedules, assign daily cleaning tasks, and coordinate with the maintenance department for repairs.Inventory Control:
Monitor and manage the inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities, placing orders as needed.Guest Relations:
Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, concerns, or complaints regarding housekeeping services.Performance Evaluation:
Provide coaching to team members to maintain high service levels.Requirements Experience:
Proven work experience in a lead role, such as a Senior Housekeeper or Housekeeping Supervisor , within the hospitality or facilities industry.Skills:
Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.Proven Track Record:
Demonstrated ability to lead a team, manage room turnarounds efficiently, and maintain high-quality.Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30-50 pounds.Commuting :
Must live within reasonable driving distance of New London, NH. We cannot offer on property housingPay:
